Readers, I am thrilled to share that I have been asked to do a solo photography exhibition on Nov 11. It will be held at the Emerald C Gallery in Coronado and I hope you can all attend. So what have I decided to show? I will share some previews here:
This show is all about impact. What images can one put on the wall for maximum impact? I have selected a sample of works that demonstrate the importance of color, sizes and mediums.

“Aspen Glow” will be the centerpiece of the show due to its brilliance and size. This is a print on metallic paper where the whites have an aluminum sheen to them. This selection of paper really creates a sense of depth. Framed in a sleek, black frame with a white matting, the image is a serious “impact” piece.

Known to locals as the tower near North Beach, this observation point sees the best in sunsets. I have printed this image as a long piece on metal. It is sleek and modern and the color simply pops.

Of course, what local show would be complete without an image of our local celebrity? Yes, Flying Floyd will be shown as a long metal print mounted in a black float frame. You just have to see it in person to believe it!

And here is a peak at the south wall of the exhibition. The top two images are printed on glass. The images on the left are glass rounds. This combination of mediums provides a fun way to see how different finishes and shapes can really impact an image’s presentation. I would show you more, but this is just a tease!
So there you have it – your very own sneak peak at my upcoming show. Of course, pictures of pictures simply don’t do justice to the real thing. For that, you’ll have to join us on November 11th in person! Hope to see you there!!
