This past week, we completed the installation of art for phase I of the remodel of UCSD Concierge Medicine. 25 large format, framed images now grace the walls. Phase II will have an additional 7 images in the new reception area and patient lounge.

This was a fun project working with the medical director to bring her concept to life. She was looking for framed art that provided a splash of color and a sense of calm to the office without looking institutional.

We leaned pretty heavily on a local floral theme. Fortunately the conceptual part of the project began in the spring and I was able to take advantage of this year’s super bloom to capture some custom images

All the images were sized for specific wall spaces and feature matching white frames and white matting. The result is a clean, artsy feel that links different subject matter into a relatable collection.

I’m super stoked to hang the last images once the reception area is renovated. These will feature several images as large as 58×35” so the “pop” power will definitely be big!!
