Okay, this one kind of snuck up on me. I can’t say National Bird Day was on my radar, but hey, go with the flow, right? So what do I have in the way of birds?

For those of you who have followed me for any duration, you know that I love to photograph birds. I’m not a “birder” by any means and I often can’t name the specific type of bird that catches my eye. Yet, catch my eye they do!

I often view flying foul as potential artwork. A combination of color, movement and positioning makes this determination. And then there is the wonder factor. For example, Flying Floyd is a wild flamingo who takes up residence in San Diego Bay!
